You're Invited to Give Thanks!

It’s almost Thanksgiving and I can’t help but admit that time certainly does seem to fly the older that I get. It really is good advice to cherish each and every season and to appreciate moments of joy, affection, and peace. I know that 2021 was not all that many of us had hoped. We are still very much in the grip of the COVID-19 pandemic. And, while the world is open again, we have not been able to resume “normalcy” in so many areas of our lives. Many of us have experienced personal setbacks, crises, and even tragedies. The trauma of injustice and violence on both the national and international scene is a burden on far too many. Nevertheless, God is good and has shown us kindness and grace all throughout this year. We have many reasons to give God thanks and praise.

With all this in mind, I invite you again to pause with us on next Wednesday, November 24th for our Thanksgiving Testimony, Prayer, and Praise Service. It will be held virtually at 6:50pm via WebEx. Information to join the service:

I am still soliciting participants to lift a scripture, prayer, testimony, spoken word, poem, or song. Do you have something to share with our church community? The one true beauty of our church is the diversity of voices across age, gender, ethnicity, and experience.
