24-Hour Community Prayer Vigil
…these I will bring to my holy mountain and make them joyful in my house of prayer; their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on my altar, for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples. Isaiah 56:7 (NRSV)
We are praying for our local community, our Nation, and the world beginning at 12 Noon on Friday, June 24th. Our vigil will culminate on Saturday, June 25th at Noon. Join us in-person at our Sanctuary for any part of this time. We will also have a hybrid Prayer and Praise service on Friday at 7pm which will be live streamed to our website and social media pages.
Here are the prayer themes that will guide our time together. This is only a guide; you can feel free to pray as Jehovah leads you at any time.
Hour# and Prayer Focus (Time)
1. Wisdom/Guidance (12-1)
2. Restoration of Hope, Joy, Strength, Goodness
3. Employment issues, poverty, food, and housing needs
4. Educational Institutions
5. All Leaders/Leadership
6. Medical Professionals
7. Incarcerated & Court System
8. Unity/Oneness, Community/Family Healing
9. Peace/Safety for all
10. Deliverance from any form of bondage/pain
11. Health (Mental, physical emotional, healing) (10-11p)
12. Parents/Caregivers
13. Businesses/Tech/Media
14. Grieving Families/Individuals
15. Self (Any Personal Needs)
16. Law Enforcement/1st Responders, Military, etc.
17. Children/Youth/Teens
18. Senior Adults
19. Marriages, Singles, Divorced, Widowed, Lonely
20. Political Issues (7-8am)
21. Churches/Pastors
22. Salvation/Spiritual Care
23. Justice, Equity, Fairness
24. Gratitude/Praise & for love to grow (11am-12pm)
