Keep Hope Alive
And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. Romans 5:5 (NIV)
Hope is a foundational principle of our faith. The greatest source of our hope is Jesus Christ is us, whom the Bible declares is our "Hope of Glory"(Colossians 1:27). When we anchor ourselves in Christ, we gain the hope that we need each day. The next greatest source of hope comes from God's Word. We cannot stay grounded, faithful, and hopeful in today's world, if we do not make reading, reciting, meditating upon, and memorizing God's word a priority. Then, we must trust the Word as the truth it is.
There are many things, situations, and problems surrounding us these days that seek to diminish our hope. Today, make up your mind to keep hope alive by feeding it with God’s word and giving your faithful trust to Jehovah. Truly, Jesus in the one who can and does fulfil our hope, and He even exceeds it #amen.
Loving and praying for you,
Pastor Danielle
