Join Us for Christmas Eve!
O Holy night…the night that Christ was born…
I am excited and delighted for us to worship together on Christmas Eve. This will be our final opportunity to worship in-person in our sanctuary this year. Christmas Eve service has always been one of my most favorite services of the year. This year is extra special because we were not able to gather in-person last year. I have been carefully monitoring the situation with the omicron variant and, for our safety, have made some adjustments to our Christmas Eve service program. We will not share in communion or do the passing of the light candle ritual because I do not want there to be a need for anyone to unmask during the service. It is still necessary for you to register for the service in advance and to sit in your assigned seat. The seats have been carefully marked to ensure proper distancing. I want to commend everyone in our community who has attended service in-person since we regathered back in August. You have been compliant and respectful of our protocols and of one another. Your prudence, generosity, and seriousness has made the process of resuming in-person worship services that much smoother for us all.
As always, I also want to thank the members of our Multimedia and Praise and Worship Ministries. You have been present for every step of our journey these past 21 months, and I am grateful for your passion, proficiency, and prayerfulness. I thank God for you all! For those who will not be able to join us in-person this year, we look forward to seeing you virtually either on our website, app, or your desired social media platform. I ask each of you to please pray for me and for our community as we move forward. I am hopeful and have a lot of peace about whatever the road ahead may bring because I know that Emmanuel will continue to be God…with us. #amen
Loving and praying for you,
Pastor Danielle
