Still Looking For Jesus

He said to them, ‘But who do you say that I am?’ Peter answered, ‘The Messiah of God.’ (NRSV)

We began this year with the guidance to seek and look for Jesus. We have now journeyed 9 months, and I want to ask you, “What have you seen?” “Have you, in fact, encountered Jesus this year?” “What has He done?” “What has He said?” “How have you been changed because of what you have learned about Christ?”

God is at work around us. God desires to be at work IN us and THRU us as well. The question is always, are we available and willing to partner with God to do great things in the earth? I hope your answer is yes. I ask you to take some time to consider what you have learned about the Lord this year. Pause and meditate about the ways that God has moved around you and be alert to what God is yet requesting of you as we go forward. The way that we live expresses what we believe about Jesus. Take some time to ponder who you say that Christ is, by the way that you speak and live each day. Let me know what you find.
