To God be the Glory
To God Be the Glory!
Thank you for the kindness, generosity, and encouragement that you offered to me last Sunday as we celebrated my 6th Pastoral Anniversary. I never cease to be amazed at the ways you share God's love with me. I was particularly touched by our Deacons pausing during worship service to pray for me.
As we head into year seven, know that I am humbled to serve, profoundly grateful, and filled with much anticipation. To God be the glory, great things the Lord has done!!
Allow me to share a few housekeeping matters here:
First, on this coming Wednesday, we will have our regular Bible Study class instead of the annual Pre-Thanksgiving Testimony, Prayer, and Praise service. We are hitting some very important and impactful points in our study on Forgiveness and I want us to finish it strong. Please plan to jump in with us in-person, via WebEx, or via livestream on our FB Page.
Second, we are gearing up to send out our Christmas cards and end of the year letters. I want to double check to make sure we have your most recent contact information. If you are new to our community, have moved, or you are moving soon, please send us your info. We will also need this for the 2023 Giving Statements that will be sent out in January. Thank you!
Last, do you want to meet with the pastor before the end of 2023? I have been having a lot of one-on-one's with new and old members of our community lately and I am eager to catch up with more of you. Let's set a time to discuss ministry, life, your spiritual goals, how we can support you, or even how you are feeling led to serve in our community. My door is always open. Message me!
